Career advice par excellence!
A client said, "I went to the Careers Office at my university to talk about my career options. The Careers Advice Officer asked, 'Well, have you decided which career to pursue?' Just a minute I thought, isn't an advice session supposed to be the other way round? Taken aback, I muttered something inane about the police force. 'Ah', he said, 'I've got some brochures on that!' And that was the end of the session."
This wasn't the 1960s it was only 10 years ago. Has nothing changed in 50 years?
