The father of all creativity is allowing the mind to wander outside the box, "day dreaming" if you like.

Sadly this was always discouraged when I was at school. I can still hear Miss Day saying, "Michael, face the front, stop day dreaming, stop looking out of the window - day dreaming won't get you anywhere."

How wrong she was and eventually the relentless pursuit of my day dream, to run my own business as my father had before me, was achieved over 25 years ago! Thank you Miss Day for giving me the motivation to prove you wrong! #proteuscareermanagement #inspiration #motivation
