It doesn’t matter how small a difference you make, just make a difference anyway.
I first heard the following story over 25 years ago and it is so relevant to our lives, irrespective of whether we are thinking about a relationship, climate change, or even our careers. The story goes as follows:
A man was walking along the shore after a storm: there were thousands upon thousands of starfish washed up on the beach and he was throwing them back into the sea one at a time. A bystander remarked, “That won’t make a difference!” As the man carried on throwing them back into the sea he replied, “It’ll make a difference to that one, and that one, and that one …….” #proteuscareermanagement #makingadifference
