Last week, Legal and General released their annual 'Deadline to Breadline' report.
For me, it is always a stark reminder of the importance of protection products such as Income Protection.
If you look at the graph above, 42% of employed adults believe that they wouldn't be able to survive for more than 1 month which their current savings. With the world as it currently is, that isn't going to get any easier any time soon.
The peace of mind that you get with Income Protection is unlike any other product out there. Knowing that your monthly outgoings are covered regardless of the illness or injury that keeps you off work. It would be cheaper than trying to save hundreds a month to cover yourself.
