You Can't Run Other People's Companies for them

You Can't Run Other People's Companies…

If there’s one phrase I’ve been taught over 20 years in the commercial leisure industry it’s this:

“You can’t run other people’s companies for them”

Your job is your responsibility and someone else’s is there’s.

When we start picking up the pieces for other people we take on a burden that serves no one.

If someone doesn’t honour their own responsibilities they will suffer the consequences.. it’s not your job to save them and they learn nothing by you doing so.

Similarly, your physical and mental abilities are your responsibility.. when we own this, we improve.. when we rely on others we are in a state of volatile dependency.

Run your own company
Run your own health
Run your own success

I believe in people, opportunities, having purpose and trusting intuition and above all else having the downright audacity to keep going when all hope seems lost.
