Please ensure that you remember to seek a Direction in respect of the time required prior to a Hearing for discussing the matter with the other parties. If you have not sought this, the time recorded on the FAS form can only be recorded as stated on the previous Order or Notice of Hearing. Just because you have certification does not mean the LAA will pay same, they will be looking at the appointed start time recorded on the previous Order or Notice of Hearing, and if you have not been directed to meet to discuss prior to Hearing they do not have to pay. The Contract Specification is clear that the time of hearing runs from the hearing commencement time or earlier if directed by the Court.
