Bluestones One Managed Services division today announced that Mark Sweeney is stepping down from his director role in the business. John Thomson, Managing Director of sister company CFS will be acquiring an interest in the business and assuming operational control of the division. Day to day management will be overseen by Greg Fields.

Bluestones One is a key business within the Bluestones Group’s portfolio of companies, having brought together a number of different brands under a common agglomerated banner. Its strapline of “one vision, one solution” underlines how the collective network and geographical footprint of the individual business that were brought together has been more impactful in the sectors it operates in. Bluestones One Managed Services is responsible for on-site quality and managed services within Bluestones One.

John Thomson said,
CFS and the managed services division of Bluestones One have many shared clients and deliver complementary services in similar sectors. It’s a natural evolution for the business to bring the two operations together and I’m looking forward to working with the team to continue the growth and success that has been enjoyed thus far.

Both CFS and Bluestones One Managed Services (previously known as Plus Point Quality) have delivered impressive performance over years of trading in the Bluestones Group and it’s felt that the bringing together of the two operations will support continued growth and ongoing success.

Steve Pendergast, Group CEO said,
Operating with a balanced portfolio of businesses means that we have the benefit of selecting those companies that we believe will work better together, realising synergies, targeting continued growth, and in the process also delivering a better overall service to our customers. I’d like to thank Mark Sweeney for his time with the Group and wish him all the best in his early retirement.

Customers can rest assured that Mark isn’t stepping away from the business immediately, as there’ll be a comprehensive handover programme and no immediate change to how the day to business will trade. For further information about this, please contact us with any questions.
