Businesses in South Wales, for instance, consume nearly a third more energy than their counterparts in London, while those in South Scotland use 15% more energy than their Northern counterparts.

On average, businesses have seen a remarkable 38% drop in electricity spending compared to the previous year. However, it's important to note that there are still disparities in energy costs across regions, with businesses in North Wales paying approximately £1,000 more annually than those in London.
