Consulting with Purpose: More Than Just External Advice

Consulting with Purpose: More Than Just External…

After spending over 20 years in the corporate world, working across various functions and collaborating with multiple departments, I found myself repeatedly exposed to consultants brought in to support different areas of the business. What stood out to me was their unique ability to spot problems and opportunities that those of us on the inside often missed. They had the advantage of fresh eyes—no emotional connection to the brand or internal politics—just clear, objective insight.

What I found ironic, however, was that many of the observations these consultants presented were not entirely new to me. In fact, they were the same pain points or suggestions I had raised on several occasions. Yet, within the organization, those issues were often passed around like a hot potato—no one department wanting to take full ownership. So, an external consultant would be brought in, provide a diagnosis, and suddenly the business would spring into action—at a significant cost, of course.

But my experience with consultants also revealed something else: how impactful it can be when someone external takes the time to genuinely care about your success, beyond delivering a report or a list of recommendations.

That’s why I chose the consulting path. For me, it’s not about coming in with a clipboard and ticking boxes. It’s about treating each client’s business as if it were my own. I want to see them succeed. No one starts or runs a business hoping to fail, and I believe there are countless touchpoints across customer experience, operations, and leadership where meaningful changes can be made to drive long-term success.

Consulting, for me, is about partnership. It’s about combining my years of corporate experience with a hands-on, empathetic approach to help businesses overcome challenges, unlock opportunities, and thrive.

If you're looking for someone who will go beyond pointing out problems and will work alongside you to implement lasting solutions, let’s talk. Your business deserves someone who is as invested in your success as you are.
