Solicitors' Negligence Claims Soar The Law Society Gazette has reported that negligence claims against solicitors are soaring. City firm Reynolds Porter Chamberlain reported an increase of 80% in claims they handled last year against other solicitors. The report includes warnings that the claims will continue to rise as clients with assets declining in value see professional advisers as tempting targets to blame. Mediation plays an important role in the resolution of such claims.
