Our Client Account Managers They are your single point of contact that work alongside you as true consultants, offering a tailored solution for your queries and needs. They keep track of your project throughout its various phases. They are always available to assist you by telephone, e-mail or fax Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 8:30 pm, as well as during evening hours and weekends when necessary. They are highly committed and ready to respond to your query within 1 hour (except complex or large project) and even more quickly for urgent project.
Our Project Managers They ensure that your translation and interpreting assignments are carried out properly. They are highly experienced translation and interpretation project managers, with each having a background as a linguist or terminologist. He or she will make every effort to carry out the assignment entrusted to him or her: to deliver a high-quality document to you at the time slated for its completion. The Project Manager's task is to assemble the team of professionals – translators, proofreaders, DTP specialists – who will work on your project successively, and to plan their workflow within the time frame you specified. They also step in before the final delivery of your project by carrying out a full review of the project and its compliance with the original order specifications.
Our translators We have more than 1,300 translators around the world working as our true partners by choice. These translators are specialised exclusively in the areas of Law and Finance. They work only into their native languages and only in their specialisation areas. They all have multiple skill levels: linguistic and technical. Our translators are either professionals in Finance (former bankers, financial analysts, etc.) or Law (lawyers, paralegals, etc.) who opted to move into translation, or else translators with degrees from large language schools, who subsequently specialised in Law or Finance. Speaking a foreign language is not enough to be a translator for HL TRAD. Each individual must fulfil a series of complex requirements.
All of our translators:
- Hold a degree both in translation and in their specialisation area (law, finance, auditing, accounting, etc.) - Work only into their mother tongue. - Work only in their specialisation area. - Are tested by HL TRAD during a lengthy recruitment process and regularly evaluated after each the completion of each assignment. - Know our clients and their profiles through information collected by the Client Account Managers. HL TRAD has implemented a very strict hiring process that ensures the translators involved with your project are experts in the field, fully able to give you full satisfaction both in the quality of translation and meeting the deadlines prescribed.
Among the different steps in the recruitment process, we consider: - Responsiveness: Response times are carefully analysed from the first telephone call or e-mail message. - Knowledge of terminology and style: Via a proficiency test in a specific field. - Punctuality: Meeting a deadline based on the length of the proposed text.
Lastly, to ensure the confidentiality of our work, each member of our team has signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
