Summary
I am a qualified lawyer in India with over 4 years of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law. I am currently pursuing my Solicitors Qualifying Exam and am expected to qualify in October 2022. Prior to my time at Oliver and Co Solicitors, I worked in a law firm in London which specialised in commercial and corporate disputes which greatly helped me to understand where a company’s pain points and pitfalls lie as well as provided me with invaluable foresight when drafting various contractual and transactional documents for my clients. At Oliver and Co Solicitors, I aim to support fast growing businesses from idea to exit with jargon-free legalese that offer solutions instead of obstructions. During my career, I have successfully aided companies to negotiate and finalize a wide range of licensing and commercial contracts. I have provided legal and compliance services to start-ups and SMEs ranging from trademark registrations to setting up contractual framework for services and distribution as well as various GDPR compliance policies including Privacy and Cookie Policies as well as Terms of Service for e-commerce businesses. I have also assisted and provided support in deal structuring, transactional documentation as well as management, regulatory and governance matters for many early-stage start-ups as well as multinational and fintech companies. I have worked with several property developers to help navigate through technical and legal issues affecting construction projects as well as enabled my clients to formalise relationships through a wide range of construction and development contracts.
