Cath is a Health and Safety Consultant delivering Health and Safety support and Advice to Business’s when they need it. Cath has a proven track record of over 20 years’ experience in health and safety, starting in a Hospital environment and spending the last 10 years in Consultancy.
Cath has visited over 500 businesses as a Consultant and has had the opportunity to work within a wide range of industries, presenting their own set of challenges.
With her experience to date, of working at all levels within many different industries, Cath still pursues different opportunities and is always looking for a new way to help business’s to comply with health and safety. Having seen first-hand how businesses operate, the challenges they face now and in the future, Cath continues to deliver a simple way of doing things.
Cath is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety (CMIOSH)
Working with clients to help them manage the health and safety risks to their business, including:
Carry out Health and Safety Audits.
Creating a suitable Action Plan
Working at all levels in the company to move the Action Plan forward
Producing Employer Health and Safety Documents appropriate to the Company type
Producing Employee Health and Safety Handbooks suitable for the Company employees
Producing a pack of relevant forms
Identify training needs and either train in house or locate a suitable training organisation
Assist with documenting risk assessment
Set up a planned maintenance system
Implement a monitoring system.
Updates on health and safety by way of a quarterly newsletter and timely correspondence.
Having a varied background of working with so many different business types and organisations, the main objective of any health and safety situation is to look for the right solutions for the type of business, its Owner and the staff. Working with the business to find out how best they work and then use this to implement a suitable health and safety system.
