Why is a written career objective so important?
Wherever and however you earn your living, your working life is governed by the written word.
Companies set up all sorts of written systems to make their operations more successful: annual targets, budgets, mission statements, meeting minutes, brand definitions, action points, the list goes on.
The closest most of us ever get to this in our own lives is to spend 6 months planning a 2 week holiday, yet we don't even spend 2 weeks planning what we're going to do with the rest of our lives let alone our careers - time to put some serious (written) thought into your future and in particular into the future of your career! #proteuscareermanagement
