I have swapped the city for the country for a week.
Like many people, I have been going non-stop since sometime in March, I don't work in the frontline, but I have been supporting many people as they fight for their businesses (I could gloss this and say that people are finding new opportunities, which some are, but many are not).
It is my role to help them to switch thinking, and as advisor that is one fun part, as a coach I am also helping them understand and re-frame their experiences as business owners. This part of supportive business coaching is tough.
I know that I'm lucky to have the possibility of escaping the city, singing with the birds at lunch and chatting with the foxes at dinner.
