1998 - CurrentThroughout my career, which began as a Student Nurse a "few" years ago, I have developed a range of skills that have often been transferred and built upon from one role to another. • Part-time lecturer to MA Nursing Studies (Education module) at Manchester University • Pre-sales negotiation with senior managers to identify training need, budget and training solutions • Development of classroom-based training interventions • Project Manager • Instructional Designer • e-Learning content development • Working with Subject Matter Experts to gather, analyse and distil the specialist information, resulting in engaging e-learning materials • Responsible for day-to-day project management with clients regarding content development aspect of e-learning projects • Proficient in audio editing and integration • Effectively managed translation of content into a variety of languages and integration into a variety of authoring tools • Training clients in the adminstrative/support aspects of e-learning. As the Managing Director of Metis, I have been responsible for: • managing a budget • negotiating contracts with clients • sourcing external suppliers, where necessary • monitoring the work of other project managers • taking the lead for project management and content development on a variety of projects • ensuring deadlines are met.
